We are dedicated to providing a safe, sober space and supportive community for those affected by addiction. Inspired by the resilience of the dragonfly, we empower individuals to overcome adversity, embrace change, and pursue a life of wellness.

– Executive Director and Co-Founder –
I've spent the past decade turning a vision for a community center into a reality rooted in recovery and connection. I focus on building programs, educating others, and creating meaningful pathways for growth. My work centers on impact, learning, and strengthening the communities I serve.

– Development Coordinator and Co-Founder –
I work closely with participants needing assistance with paperwork so they can get the benefits they need to move forward in their recovery. I have a degree in Social work and have worked as a Case Manager for over 16 years, when I was asked to help with getting recovery programs for the area I jumped at the chance and worked with Georgia to see our dream come to fruition.

– Program Manager –
As a lifelong resident of Piscataquis county and a person in long-term recovery, I know all too well the struggle to find resources in our community for those struggling with Substance Use Disorder. I have made it my personal mission to bring as many pathways of recovery to our area as we possibly can. As a recovery coach and a Program Manager, the Recovery Wellness Community Center has offered me the perfect avenue to accomplish that.
"I had no idea I was getting together with the person who would save my life."
Alan and Katie’s journey through substance use disorder is a story of true love, firm boundaries, and an unwavering desire to rebuild their lives together. Substance use doesn’t just affect the individual — it ripples through families, friendships, and entire communities. Their story is a powerful reminder that recovery is possible and that hope and healing are within reach.
